Rear hatch auto close and open not working.

When button is pushed inside vehicle or on back hatch or on key fob rear hatch unlocks, but does not open.

Hi @davidbland21735

Check if the 15A fuse #4 in the passenger compartment fuse block, located under the dashboard on the passenger’s side of the center console, behind the round? cover is OK.

If the fuse is OK check if there is power on the fuse when you operate the liftgate open/close button.

If there is there may be a problem with the liftgate motor or the wiring from the fuse to the motor or the motor's earth connection etc.

If there isn't it may be a problem with the board mounted relay in the fuse block or the relay operate circuit from the BCM (body control module).

Here's the schematic wiring diagram showing the liftgate circuit for a 2007 Equinox, that may help.
