Repair Bluetooth for my hp

My HP does not connect to Bluetooth what could be the hinch it cannot be able to identity the available devices

Hi @billy42876

Check the status of the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager.

To get to Device manager in Win10/11, press the Win key + the x key (both together) and click on the Device manager link.

When in Device Manager, scroll down to the Bluetooth category, click on the > symbol to the left of the category to expand the list and then right click on the Bluetooth adapter entry- Properties - General tab and check what it shows in the Device status box.

If there is a red cross next to the BT entry right click on the entry and click on enable and follow the prompts. restart the laptop and then check.

If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the entry, right click on the entry and click on update drivers and follow the prompts. You need to be online for this to work. Alternatively, download the latest BT driver applicable to your BT module, from here and install them manually. Select your OS e.g. Win 10 then the version Win 10 64-bit and click on submit. Then click on All drivers - Driver Network (8) to find the applicable BT driver.
