Hi @meirf

Here's the icemaker service sheet that may help.

I couldn't find the wiring diagram for the refrigerator (Whirlpool part # 2255385) in case it is a power supply problem to the icemaker. You may have better luck.

Hopefully the problem is in the icemaker.

Update (07/16/23)

Hi @meirf

Found the tech sheet for the refrigerator.

Unfortunately it isn't much help as far as testing the icemaker switch is concerned as the wiring diagram is very basic as far as the modular icemaker is concerned. It is more for the refrigerator wiring overall and not for individual component internal wiring

It shows just the 3 wires i.e. White ( Neutral wire) and a Black/White (presumably power feed to the module) and a Tan wire which is used to operate the ice water valve.

To test it you would have to open it up.

Perhaps you should check first if power is getting to the icemaker.

The tech sheet states not to operate the icemaker cycle manually as it must be done electrically (see Note #4 on p.1) so perhaps you can initiate it using the service sheet I linked and then check if there's power on the BK/WH wire.

Be safety aware as the icemaker operates at 120V AC!

Thank you very much for your response is there a way to identified if the problem is the power or the switch?
