Why does one of my airpods keep changing modes?

Every time my left airpod changes modes it produces almost a click. It will start to use the noise cancelation then click off. In addition when it clicks off the bass goes away until it clicks back on. It does this non stop.

I've replaced the tips. Sometimes putting it back in the case for 30 seconds will fix it for a little while.

Answer this question I have this problem too

If you bought your airpods within the last 3 years from apple, i think they are required to give you a replacement if the noise cancelling and other features dont work for at least 3 years.
