Why is my phone note charging an also not turning on

Have you tried connecting a different known working compatible charger or connecting the phone using a known working compatible USB cable to the USB port of a computer and check if the phone started to charge?

Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all?

If the answers to the above are yes and no, then use a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually inspect the micro USB charge port in the phone. Check for any lint or other debris that may be preventing a good electrical connection. Also check that all the pins are there and that they're straight and parallel with each other and not bent or broken. If there is any debris in the port enclosure, do not use a metal pin or probe to try and get it out. Use a vacuum cleaner instead or if still no good, try using a sharpened wooden toothpick to gently, prise it out.

If the charge port seems OK then the phone will have to be opened and tested as to what the problem is.

If the troubleshooting 1st step test fails then try replacing the charge port board (supplier examples to show cost).

If opening the phone and testing etc is too daunting, contact a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote to repair the phone.
