Repair for a broken spark plug wire/cap

Hi, I’m looking for some guidance and a 2nd opinion because I’m not super familiar with golf carts but I have 2001 club car and the spark plug wire/cap was broken. The invoice I received from the shop that did the repairs said they installed a new ignition coil and new fuel filter line -$130 labor and then it says $238 for an RPM limiter. There wasn’t anything wrong with my RPM limiter so I’m confused why I was charged for that. So I’m just wondering if someone could help me understand if this is correct or if I’m being charged for something I didn’t need.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@eileen51845 we can't know if it was appropriate to replace the RPM limiter. we do not know what test they did and what results they had. Ultimately, if you do not trust the shop that did the repair, I'd suggest that you do not go back there.
