Logic board resistor came loose near “right” speaker connector

So, the other day I was preparing to do a battery replacement of my macbook pro 15” 2017 a1707 emc3162. Both speaker connectors on the board for some reason had some adhesive underneath and while disconnecting the “right side” connection, my plastic pencil tool somehow brushed this tiny resistor loose.

I’m curious as to what part this is and if it is essential to the operation of the system? I’m preparing to do the repair myself since I was able to recover the tiny thing and no repair shops nearby.

I don’t think boards have redundant parts but I wish they did if the weight of a plastic tool knocked a 0402/0201/01005 size smd loose lol.

Thank you for your time

@cinndrag that is reference designator R8447 which is a 10KOhm 5% 1/20W resistor in a 0201 package. It is part of your keyboard backlight PWM circuit. It does not look like a system critical component but without it, your keyboard backlight will most likely not be regulated :-)
