Alienware m15 r6 speaker no sound and ticking

Since perhaps half a year ago, the internal speaker on my Alienware m15 r6(bought in Jan 2021) starting to lost its sound and instead making an almost inaudible ticking sound around once every second.

Initially it would go back to functional if I either (a)change to a external Bluetooth speaker or (b)just leave it there with audio going, both for about an hour.

Recently it has turn completely quiet, other than the ticking, and the two method above no longer works. I assume there's definitely something wrong with the speaker elements as both the 3.5mm jack and the Bluetooth function are perfectly fine.

I would like to know if any other owner of my model meets such problem, and what might be a fix for it? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@vincentliu73940 I'd start by either replacing the speaker or testing it separate from the computer. I'd use the speaker wires to connect the speaker to another device. If the speaker works then, you know it's the audio circuit of your computer. If the speaker still won't work, it maybe time to replace it.

Make sure that you updated the audio device drivers as well.

You mean another of the same laptop?

@vincentliu73940 no necessarily. I'd use a 3.5mm to RCA audio cable and connect it to my old trusty iPod and the RCA end connected to the speakers, with just a test lead with alligator clips. No soldering involved and just a quick and dirt test. Let's hear what they sound like :-)
