Mac OS Recovery Fail

Hello,

Computer: Mac Pro 2019 Intel Processor

Problem: I am running into a problem where I am unable to enter macOS Recovery over the internet.

Originally, I wanted to erase my hard-drive to reset my mac. However, I forgot to use Bootcamp Partition to delete the Windows version. When I was in the macOS Recovery downloading the latest version of macOS Ventura, my internet shut down and the download could not continue. When I restart my mac trying to start up using macOS Recovery over the internet. I was prompt with this message.

Recovery

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

Error Code: 0xc0000225

I was hoping to bring it into apple and them diagnose but I wanted to see if I can find solution at home first.

Thanks,

Try in recovery mode and quit the recovery tools and check if gives you an option to restart.

It should ask you to choose a disk to boot on, check if MacOS or Windows comes up, select MacOS and do a partition.

Hope this works!

I find using the internet recovery has its good days and bad 😞 Apple tends to forget about updating it. And if you have a no longer supported system and OS version it uses forget it!

I would creat a bootable OS installer with the MacOS you are currently using, of course you need a working Mac to do that😩!

Get a 32GB thumb drive and try to hunt down a friend with a Mac to help you if you don’t have a second Mac.

Here’s the needed OS file How to download and install macOS and here’s how to make the bootable image Create a bootable installer for macOS
