Is it Possible to replace the display with an OLED panel

Is it possible to replace the display with an OLED panel on the Asus TUF Dash F15 2022, assuming I find a display with similar specifications? I'm interested in upgrading my laptop's display to an OLED panel for improved color reproduction and contrast. If I manage to find an OLED panel that matches the required specifications, I would like to know if it is technically feasible to perform the replacement myself. Are there any specific compatibility issues or considerations I should keep in mind? Additionally, I would greatly appreciate any step-by-step instructions or resources that can help me with the process. Thank you!

Hi Sam,

It looks like your laptop basically comes with three options for the display; there are two different FHD (1920 x 1080) displays and one WQHD (2560 x 1440) being offered.

I'm afraid it's highly unlikely you're going to be able to covert to an OLED screen. The interface signals are going to be substantially different between LCD and OLED; the primary difference is that the LCD uses a backlight whereas in the OLED the actual pixels light up so controlling the overall brightness is done completely differently between the two technologies.

I'd suggest your best bet is to buy an external monitor that has the display quality you want. You'll get a screen that can be bigger than your original if desired and it can be OLED for the quality you're looking for.
