Does anyone have any experience removing the battery?

The battery is soldered on by 2 different set of pins, and I have been trying to remove it but have not been successful. I have tried doing a couple of tips and tricks I found online about removing through put connectors, but the problem with the battery in this case is that is you really can't remove one set of pins at a time, and im not sure heating up the entire area is a good idea as the battery is directly behind the logic board.

Sort of, the pin design is a bit different on my battery pack. Mine's doesn't have one of the pin sets loop up and over the logiv board, both sets are through hole pins. It doesn't help that I'm still a novice with a solder kit, maybe I just need to be a bit more aggressive with it.
