DS Lite Flashes Orange for One Second before Refusing to Charge

This system was working just fine recently, but after replacing the bottom screen, it now has this charging issue, I saw that when I quickly flip the power switch within that one second of orange, it does appear to be powering up, so to me this issue seems to be solvable, not sure what I did wrong though.

Answer this question I have this problem too

This is a strange case, because the problem of charging indicates that the problem comes from the fuse"F2","F1" or "L2" which would be deffective. except that when one of these fuses is bad the console just doesn’t start. Since you have done a screen replacement check that you have correctly place and clip the ribbon cable of the new one, because if a screen is badly installed the console tries to start and then turns off. To test the fuses use a multimeter beep mode to see if any of them are involved.
