I bought a new V2 controller and as soon as I turned it on, it started a rumble coming from the right motor. It was like the controller had a pulse. Hopefully the fix isn't difficult.

It could be glitchy firmware. Try resetting it, paper clip in the hole on the back for 10 seconds, then resync it. See if that works. The fix could be easy, or not. But the time and potentially complicated troubleshooting it down to the culprit might not be "easy". If you bought it brand new, I'd return it as defective and get a replacement. There are so many things it "could be". From the processor to the wires/ribbons, to the motor itself. This is a new one for me, haven't come across this particular problem.
