Conductive glue for PRAM battery?

Dear Community,

the PRAM battery is next to the SSD on the motherboard.

It is attached to the motherboard at two points.

Due to an accident, now only one of these points hold the PRAM battery in place.

I would rather avoid repair service if possible.

As I looked at the attachment, my assumption was that some kind of conductive glue was used to hold the battery in place.

If I used that to reattach it, am I taking a risk?

In this picture it looks like the PRAM battery is soldered onto the board at two contact points, though I'm not sure about that because I don't have a board to inspect in person. If it is soldered, which it looks like it is, then you would need to resolder the connection to repair it. I'm not aware of any other method of connecting it to the board. Good luck!

Do you think a kind of wire glue, which is said to replace soft soldering, would also do, which is said to be able to make conductive bonds?

I'm not sure! I've never tried that. If you are able to do that successfully, let us know :D
