No, you will not lose the warranty. You are able to open your own devices without lose warranty, all seal sticker is working only like "info" for manufacter what was happen with device, for example when is gpu seal broken, they will check the PCB when is somethink mechanical broken, when not, but warranty will stay. Only waterdamage sticker when missing or come activated from water disable the warranty. Dont be scared from sticker "warranty void" etc, when some dealer dont want accept reklamacion about broken sticker he behavior illegal.

@vojtech59738 - If this was a M.2 unit I could see this as a simple slam dunk! As you could then take the removed SSD unit back in if there was something else that failed.

Here we have directly soldered Flash chips! This is not something a manufacture can accept under warranty! Did the board get damaged in the process? Are the chips the correct ones? Did the size set get altered as needed?

Open your own device dont cancel your warranty. When you mechanical destroy board or soldering somethink of corse you lost. Read first warranty rules. Btw when you clean ventilator in laptop you lose warranty? When you upgrade PS5 ssd you lost warranty? When you replace battery in phone you lost warranty?

😄 When is soldered of corse you can not "replace" it without warranty lost

@vojtech59738 - Be careful! The real issue is did you leave obvious marks. If you can see pry marks on the case shell or badly routed cables once opened that clearly was not what the maker would do in the assembly or what I would do in the repair I wouldn’t accept it under warranty!

There is a lot of cleaning which doesn’t require opening the system! A soft paint brush and a little Compressed Air/Can’d Air if properly used.
