TV keeps recycling through functions

All functions keep recycling.....channels sound, input choices etc.

This is Sanyo Model FW42D25T. Yes I removed the batteries and tried to work the unit manually. Same results. I replaced the batteries and once again the same results. Should I try another power source?

What is the model number of the TV?

Have you tried removing the batteries from the remote (and any other remote that may be associated with a device connected to the TV) to see if it stopped doing this?

@jackcrow that will not be a power board issue. Explain in detail what it does. It sounds like your IR board or your main board, but it will help if we know the sequence of events, what buttons you push (if any) etc.
