Screen replacement - iPhone 12 MINI with OLED display

My screen is not working. I wanted to buy the replacement from ifixit. But you only have the LCD in stock. IF I change it with LCD, will it work?

I just want to be able to turn on my iCloud on the device so data can be recovered. Right now I cant do anything as the screen is not working.

If I get the LCD, will it temporarily work? As i said, I only need to screen to work for a short term so I can start the backup.

What other screen can i use to replace my current one? What are my options. Buying OLED would be too expensive. Please let me know if you have any suggestions

this isnt the actual store and only a help forum, yes an lcd will work and will function as normal, the only difference is you wont have truetone, you will have a warning that the screen might not be genuine and the battery will be used slightly more with an lcd

If it's just to get your data then buy a cheap screen. Hook it up and get your data off it. Don't see the point in spending hundreds just to get data.
