Hi @pynz0,

You don't say what you've tried so try the following:

With the laptop turned on try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop's HDMI port and check if there's a display showing OK on it.

Don't forget to toggle the Fn + F9 keys (both together) to switch the display between laptop only, external monitor only or both on together.

If there's no display on the external monitor either then there's a motherboard problem or the laptop has failed to start i.e. fails POST (power on self test)

If there's a display on the external monitor then there's a problem with either the video cable or cable connection (at either end) or the LCD panel itself.

To isolate the problem further, with the laptop on and the laptop display selected, with no display showing, try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the screen and check if you can see any images at all. They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them.

If you can see images then there's a backlight problem. Could be motherboard, video cable or LCD panel.

Not much further advanced as the laptop will have to be opened to find out why and where but it's something to check anyway
