Possible to replace integrated webcam?

I suddenly started having issues with my internal webcam. All of a sudden it started being really blurry. I've tried cleaning the lens, but it does not work. I'm thinking perhaps a seal cracked and now moisture has gotten in there. Is it possible to replace just the internal webcam? Or do I need to replace entire screen to fix this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

@zak18311 you did not give us your laptops model number but selected the Dell Inspiron 16-7610. You can download teh service manual for that computer from here Looks like that model has the camera integrated into the display assembly (the bezel around it actually). the camera is available as a spare part here for example. So that means you could try and use some heat to soften the glue that the screen into the assembly. Probably not an easy task and might be risking breaking the display, but nothing wrong with trying.

Dell probably uses snaps on these, that's the best case though. If not, it's clips and (hopefully) weak adhesive.
