Why is my computer going blacking out?

I have had my computer for no more than a year. Everything was fined. Then recently, my computer has been blacking out or the Black Death as they call it. I don't know what to do.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This is an older model, so you bought the system used correct? If not please let us know.

In a dimmed room do you see a glow in the screen?

If you click on the keyboard or mouse does the system come alive? Do you hear the drive or fan?

So, the only way to get the system working you need to press and hold the power button for a good 30secs and then the system restarts, is that correct?

Yes I bought the system. iMac 27 inch 5k retina, Mid 2015. I bought earlier this year. When the scene blacks out, the mouse nor keyboard does anything. I have to to unplug the computer just for it to come back on. Only for it to black out again.

@lawrencewi77961 - just before it goes on you do you hear the fan, and then just at the point of going Black do you still hear the fan?

Please also can you answer the other question I asked if the screen glows and instead of unplugging, see if pressing the power button and holding it for a good 30secs and then release it and press it again one more time normally to see if that works instead.

Why I ask is to try to zero in on what area the issue is within.
