Won't power up.

Hi,

I have a mac mini late 2018 A1993. It was working fine since I bought it about 4 years ago. Few months ago suddenly shut it down and won't power up anymore, no sound, now fan. Suspecting a faulty psu I replaced it with a new one with same result.

Can anyone please advise what will be the next step to get it fixed.

Thank you in advance for any advice

There’s not much here, the logic board is now the focus. I would take it out and give it a good inspection looking for burnt or swollen components.

If you see anything that looks suspicious take a good clear picture and post it here for us to see.

i have a customer with the same issue, the logic board looks perfect, I replaced the PSU. Rossman does not do MacMinis.

@mayer - The OP did try a second PSU, which is what I would do too.

Not much out there for MacMini repairs. The few that I did that had logic board issues one was a bad inductor and VRM MOSFET chip, the other was a dead CPU chip as the fan died overheating it.
