Why is my touch sensitivity bad now?

I got my screen repair a couple months ago and the touch sensitivity hasn't been good since. When scrolling it feels like I'm scrolling through mud if that makes sense and when I type on the keyboard too fast some of my touches aren't registered and I end up with missing letters in my words.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hello, I have the same problem with sensitivity after replacing the display. When I type on any keyboard, I have to type slowly otherwise it writes bad things and keeps erasing words. As if there was a problem with the intensity of many touches at once. Also, how many times does he react to the back gesture? When answering or rejecting an incoming call, I have trouble completing the swap many times. I tried turning on a higher sensitivity but it didn't help. Can I complain about the display?

Hi @chelseabirch

Check if the increase touch sensitivity setting is turned off.

If so turn it on and check if that resolves the problem.

Go to Settings > Display > Increase touch sensitivity

@petratdneska Having the Pixel 6 Pro myself, I tend to keep an eye on Pixel-related posts and to be honest it looks to me like Google has a little bit of a quality control issue with their replacement screens. I've seen far too many cases where a brand new screen - a genuine Google screen, by the way - has come with issues.

If you bought your screen from iFixit, I suggest you contact their iFixit Store personnel regarding a replacement. Their displays have a lifetime warranty so if it isn't working correctly you should be able to work with them on seeing about a replacement. Contact them by email at support@ifixit.com.

If you bought your screen somewhere else, I suggest checking the warranty and contacting the seller about a replacement.
