iPad screen issue after battery replacement

I replaced the battery of my iPad pro 9,7 inch (2017). After reconnecting the screen, I turned on my iPad and found the screen not working (please refer to the attached picture). Any idea on what causes this issue? The screen connectors on the logic board and the ribbon cable do not seem damaged, so I am wondering if a replacement screen should fix the issue. Could I maybe have damaged the screen whilst removing it from the iPad?

Looks like you've damaged it. New screen unfortunately. Not cheap either.

Yeah I think so too. But in the end with the new screen its probably going to be less expensive or similar the amount I would have to pay a shop to do a battery replacement. I decided to try it because it's an older device anyways and I got to learn something out of it. Better luck next time!

Battery replacement is a lot cheaper than a replacement screen on a ipad pro unless the shop you go to is a rip off merchant.
