How can I replace the headphone socket?

in the past I damaged my headphone socket, now it has poor connection or no sound. or just straight up ignore it the headphone socket.

@fredrezones45 since iFixit does not yet have a guide for this, use something like this video to replace the jack. Once you remove the circuit board, you can then remove the headphone jack. Replacements are available at places like this and many others. Or if you are more of a reader, you may want to check this out Moto E5 Play

While you work on your headphone jack, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
