OEM cooling fan - poss still buy OEM fan or is there decent alternativ

Looking for advice on sourcing the best CPU cooling fan. Prefer not to end up with a cheap noisy copy

Really didnt expect finding OEM equip / or decent after market (not cheap Chinese copies) so difficult

@paulie71962 - I’ve had good success with TheBookYard.

The last choice is bringing the system into Apple as they will have the real McCoy brand spanking new part😟 but it will cost you!

Apple finally has allowed access to their parts, the rub is only the M series and limited to only a few countries.

This is a custom fan unit so you don’t have many options. This is from the same manufacturer of Apples unit.

Yes, I checked them out too - currently my best alternative but I was really hoping to find a new fan so i can fix it once and be finished with it. Knowing my luck this fan might be just as noisy as my current one! Most of these donor machines get stripped because they got cooked ...because the fan was screwed
