hello Victoria,
these are the symptoms of phones after a big fall and breaking the connection in NFC lines (due to the lack of access to the "secure element" and the possibility of getting the data decryption key). It's possible you've also lost WiFi/BT and cellular service. It needs to be taken care of at a good repair shop.
