Best Non OEM Replacement Screen?

Subject is an Apple Series 5, 40 MM watch with a cracked screen. I can still see the icons.

Do I need anything more than a replacement screen kit to fix this?

There are multiple screen kits available ranging from $10 to over $200. Which is the best bang for the buck. It doesn't make sense to buy a $139 screen kit for a watch that old.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@stanleybunch this isn't a full display, its only the digitizer and front glass, so if you have LCD problems, or problems with the backlight, this won't fix it unfortunately :(

@stanleybunch - That link is only the crystal/digitizer part it’s not the OLED panel part which is glued to the crystal/digitizer part. That’s why it’s so cheap (note they called it an LCD which it’s not)

I really don’t recommend attempting ungluing the OLED as more often than not you just end up killing it. It’s better to get the full assembly.

Buy a complete screen assembly, they aren't cheap. If you don't want to spend a lot then I'd bang it on ebay as spares or repairs and let someone else have a go. OR, look on ebay for the same watch locked to icloud and use the screen off it.
