Why my usb stop working

USB stop working it cannot be connected to my phone to transfer files but charging only

@naseerumaar what happens if you connect other things (like a mouse, a keyboard etc.)to the USB port? Do they still work?

It can charge my phone but don't connect Flash, hard drive, Bluetooth and printer

Does this happen on all the USB ports in the laptop?

Try uninstalling the USB controllers in Device Manager and then restarting the laptop to allow Windows to reinstall them and then check if it works OK.
