How can I fix the LCD cable connector plug?

I replaced the LCD and cable number 1 which connects the LCD to the logic board or mother board will not stay connected, sometimes it does and when it does, a blank LCD shows. If I press the connection down or hold it with my finger the connection is normal. as soon as let my finger go the cable stay connected but the LCD goes back to blank.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

It's not ideal and is unlikely to work long term but try some squishy foam, like earplug foam and perhaps Blu-Tack if you jam it in the phone then close it, it MIGHT provide enough pressure to work. If not, you're up for another LCD. Or if the damage is to the Logic board you're in real trouble.
