Touch screen inoperative after battery installation

Installed new battery, all appeared to go well, but touch screen will not function now. No screen damage visible, Ribbons disconnected at two areas for screen removal only. I completed driver updates in attempt to fix. I started computer in UEFI mode per Microsoft forum, Still not working.

Is this a good question?

From what I can tell from the info given, your screen cables are either damaged or not fully plugged in. I would re-open it and check the cable for damage and ensure that everything is fully plugged in. If that does not fix the problem, the screen may have gotten damaged somehow during the repair.

I appreciate the suggestion, Opened up and checked connections. did not find any problems with connections. Did replace the screen and digitizer with a new part and also a cable from digitizer to board- still not working with touch or pen.
