Is the battery of the 5th generation Ipod Classic interchangeable with other generations?

@molina671169627 I've used the 6th gen battery but had to slightly twist the flex cable. Careful, if it is a 30GB the battery must be the thin one since it will otherwise ruin the display. No other battery will fit.
