Torn copper foil repair

If I tore the copper foil during display assembly replacement, can I use copper foil tape to repair it? I have a roll of copper foil tape that claims it is good for conducting electricity on circuit boards.

its not there to conduct electric, its there to reflect heat

@elizabethoneill what my esteemed colleague @tech_ni means to say is, yes, it is okay to use that. Just don't overdo it and slap a whole lot of tape on it. :-)
