Bent pins in the connector for the cartridge on the board

I think some of the pins on the connector on the board are bent, I must have forced it or something. See photo below:

I bought a new cartridge reader because the original one was broken because of those pins. See photo below:

Maybe this photos can help someone determite the exact problem. The new reader's cables are still intact.

Is there any way I can fix the connector on the board without buying another one and soldering?

Unless you can bend the pins back into place, you'll have to replace the whole connector. Something like a dental pick would probably work best. Just don't use anything that will break or leave residue, and know you'll be lucky if this actually works
