How to ID hard drive
Need to donate the 3000 and want to take out hard drive. How do I find it? Thanks

ZacBit, check this link to the maintenance manual of your computer. It will show you the location as well as the directions on how to remove your drive. Hope this helps, good luck

It"s 4"x1"x5.75" in demensions and should have a ribbon cable and power cable attached to it. It will be attached to two green rails and will pull out. Remove it and you have your data.
