Is this the right logic board for late 2015 iMac 27”

Block Image

Purchased this from eBay to replaced the faulty logic board on my 27” iMac late 2015, but it looks like it is different layout on GPU compared with the original board I have, also, the component circled in red was off, can any one advise this is the right board? And that missing component won’t harmful for the whole system at all? Just want to check it before installing it.

Many thanks.

@lovecd do you have teh 820-xxxx numbers for both boards? That way we can check on what you got there.

Where should that number be printed?

should be on the board. Sometimes those are hard to see since they are more of an imprint than a print. looks like yours should be a 820-00292

@lovecd the parts missing are:

CA640 and it is a 470uF 20% 2V capacitor in a D2 package

LA630 which is a 2.2uH 10A inductor in a IHLP2525EZ package

Both parts are critical for your GPU circuitry. You do not want to use this board. Return it since it was used to harvest parts off it.
