No audio on earpiece

So I got a Pixel 3 with no sound on the earpiece, I bought a replacement on Aliexpress and installed it, still no sound, so I bought another 2 pieces and tested them both, still no sound. What can it be? The bottom loudspeaker sounds normal, but the top one refuses to work and I can't find a board diagram anywhere. Any help is appreciated, and sorry, I'm not a native English speaker.
