MacBook won’t start

Yes I spilled a beer on my MacBook Air. I immediately did everything I could to get the beer out. After letting it sit for several days I tore it down to the upper case to see the damage. There was no trace of beer anywhere. I looked for any visible corrosion but couldn’t find any as well.

My question is when I hook the battery up or plug it in the fan will start, the chime chimes and the screen lights up but only for a few seconds then shuts off. It won’t power up otherwise, I tried hooking up the battery without the keypad or trackpad plugged in and the fan didn’t even turn on.

So I just wonder what component I need to replace in order to get my Mac working again.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@jasonsnell8830 - Sorry for not responding sooner. Well that’s not good! That could be a bad charger and/or the cords connection to the system is not working. Let’s start off withe the simple stuff.

Take a picture of the systems MagSafe port so we can see the contacts clearly and the business end of the cord so we can see the pins.
