Where can I get the 6R8 coil for my iPhone?

My son's iphone works, but the backlight doesn't, I see that some other techies have repaired theirs by replacing the 6R8 coil on the mother board, but where can I get this part from?

This part is soldered on using the SMD method, so this is not a novice friendly repair. Depending on your skill level, I would plan on the repair being to difficult to manage.

If you decide to try and determine you can't do it, take the phone to a repair shop that can replace the coil for you. If you can't do it and you try, then you are likely to damage it beyond repair.

The coil can be found on a donor board, but it can also be purchased new on sites like eBay. Most shops do not sell the coil, but it is readily available on eBay.

If you need a soldering tutorial, refer to this guide or this guide, starting with the SMD soldering portion.

Thanks for the info gents, I ordered the part last night and with the help of the tear down instructions, I should have a working phone for my son again. As for the soldering, that's no problem, I've done tons of pcb rework and repairs in my current position. Thanks again for all the help, this has to be one of the best sites out here for information.
