Weird problem with Classic II

I have a weird problem with a Classic II I just purchased. Nothing happens when I turn it on. No fans...nothing. But after 5-10 minutes of just sitting there it starts up and runs normally.

The motherboard and power board look pristine. No leaking capacitors etc.

@blacter5 sounds like a bad IC or bad capacitors. Check your power supply. What have you checked? Post some good pictures of both power board and logic board. Let's see if we can find something.

Thanks. I haven't checked anything. I don't have the skills to know where to start.

Both boards look absolutely perfect. No leaking. Not even dusty.

Could the battery have anything to do with the issue? There wasn't one on the board. I just ordered a new one.

@blacter5 it can but it shouldn't manifest into a delay start situation.

this is an issue with the power board going from standby to on. We will need clear photos.

@blacter5 those look good and looks like there were some previous repairs made to the logic board. Also, looks like the caps got already replaced on the power board. Did you check for corrosions on the back side of the boards? Anything strange on there?
