Blinking Orange Light Fixed Itself?

So I recently acquired a DSI XL from a garage sale where it has previously just been used by the owner’s kid. It had a few little scuffs but nothing major and all buttons and screens work perfectly. I’d already charged it about 3-4 times to full battery since I’d been using it to play old Pokémon games, but today I found the light blinking orange and then it took longer than usual to power on. It’s currently charging again and isn’t doing it at the moment but I’m worried that something might be wrong. Any help would be appreciated since I keep seeing everywhere the a blinking orange light is like a death omen for DS’s.

Answer this question I have this problem too

It should be fine, if you begin to have troubles again, the most likely culprit is the battery.

Try removing and reconnecting the battery.

Yah I’ve begun to have issues with moving the DSI XL. It’ll be fin but if you jolt it too hard it’ll just turn off completely. I tried to tighten the housing case on the battery which seemed to help a bit, but if it’s too hard of a jolt/movement it’ll still turn off. The battery is the original one and it looked perfectly fine including the all the contact points.
