pully drive teeth are worn

washer clicks when it is agitating. Teeth on pully drive seem to be making the noise. what causes the teeth to wear?

Sprocket wear can be caused by a number of things:

- dirt/debris damaging the teeth

- Improper pulley tension

- Worn chain or belt

- Bad bearings (causing high resistance)

If you make the repair on your washer, I would highly recommend replacing as many parts in the pulley line as possible and giving everything a quick clean and lube.
