Around 6 rows of dead pixels on only the left side

The left side of the game boy screen is completely blank but the right is in pristine. The left is missing out is missing a lot of pixels but it all works. Otherwise how do I fix this easy do I have to replace the screen?

This is actually a very easy fix! Here is a video you can follow to remove the lines. The one horizontal line cannot be removed, but the vertical ones on the left are easy. You will need a soldering iron and make sure not to keep it under the screen for too long otherwise it will burn. More lines will appear as you work on it, but they will eventually all disappear. I got mine at Hobby Lobby for super cheap. I also saw a Reddit post a while ago about someone fixing the Game Boy lines using a candle and butter knife.
