Hi! Have you sucseeded solving the problem? I've spent couple of days trying to fix MacBook Pro 2018, it got worse and worse, no options, same Ox7DC (2012) DFU error.

You need to fully wipe the drive, but to do that you need to boot from an external drive to then run Disk Utility from that externals files.

You have a bit of a Towers of Hanoi problem

You need access to a second Mac otherwise or if the internet recovery is working you can build the external drive but Apple doesn’t make it easy! As the recovery will be the original macOS not what you are running today.

I have tried restoring with 2nd Mac Book. But that’s the message, which keeps popping up. Any other methods.?

@yayavat48 - Did you do a full reformat of the drive and only install a fresh OS from the Apple OS installer?
