My screen and battery aren't turning on. The battery is taking 0.466A

For some reason, one day my ipad shut down randomly. We charged it and the apple logo wouldnt show on the screen. Does anyone know why? Maybe we charged it a lot. Every time I try and power it on, the power drops down to 0.200 or less. It goes back to normal when trying to charging. When the battery is heated using the heatgun, it goes up by 0.001 of a amp.

Not entirely sure why you'd try to heat a lithium ion battery but by doing so it will certainly cause it to draw little to no current because it's heated up. There's a temperature sensor within the battery for safety. If it gets too hot or too cold, the device won't charge it.

Given the device is 6 years old at this point, it may be due for a new battery. If you have a volt meter you could open up the device and check the battery voltage and see what it says. Should be between 3.4v-4.5.
