Does the 2ds use 3ds buttons?

Hi I am trying to fix up a 2ds and need new buttons. It is really hard to find 2ds buttons and shells and was wondering if the 2ds uses the same buttons as the 3ds?

As far as I can tell, the notches that keep them aligned don't match up, and the 3ds buttons are (possibly) a bit taller. You could probably make them work if you really need to, but it seems like it'd be easier to track down the right buttons

Hey, Tay

The 3DS and 2DS button notches don't line up, so they may not fit. Even if they did, the 2DS uses shorter buttons than the 3DS, so if you used 3DS buttons it would be a bit tall for comfort. I wouldn't say it's worth the money to buy 3DS parts and not have them fit. But if you're in desperation and can't find any other parts, it's your choice to try it.

no, they do NOT any of the models match up so do not attempt it sadly the 2ds button and parts are RARE since there is not alot of repro parts so you will have to buy from ebay
