How to change time on Animal Crossing wild world?

Because of daylight savings, the time move forward so I changed my ds lite time 1 hour ahead, but the animal crossing wild world game still plays an hour behind. Is there a way to change the time in-game?

It looks like these are the instructions to change the time in-game: "To change the time in-game, load the game and when at the character select, click the phone and follow the option that goes to the Date and Time settings." (Copied from the top Google search result!) I haven't played the game so I'm not sure if this works. Let me know if it helps!
