My phone detects a Sim card but shows no network even after configurat

My phone says no network but detects my sim card without issues. I can't call, surfe the web or text. I resettled the phone but it didn't help. Swapped sim cards, nothing changed. I kinda think it's a hardware fault.

Options

im assuming your phone isn't under warranty, but if it is, go that route

is the sim card the right size?

is the sim card 4G or 3G (i can guarantee that phone isn't 5G)

is the sim tray cracked or damaged in any way?

is the sim card activated and not outdated or out of activation date?

can you restore android (will erase data) adn see if it works then?
