Hi

That burned component looks to be a resistor (I cant tell you the value as you would need to measure it with a multimeter but you can’t measure burned components accurately)

We know it’s a resistor as it’s marked with the code R17

The R stands for resistor

If you can find a schematic you may be able to find out the value of that resistor:-)

Hopefully this helps

Any questions please ask

Thanks:-)

+1 for HelloMacOS' analysis, it's spot on.

If you can tell us what make and model of device this board is for, the internet sleuths on here may be able to locate a schematic diagram; it's a bit of a long shot, but not impossible.

Failing that, you may have to figure out if that board is actually made by the manufacturer or possibly by someone else; there may be make and model information for the board itself separate from that of the device it's used in that could provide a clue.

Thanks guy for the advice. I will try to check with the multimeter over the weekend and will update here.

The board belongs to OTO ESSENTIA MASSAGE CHAIR and the model for the board is AM1670B 20171111 94V-0
