The ribbon number 7 dont "snap"

my iphone 3gs has no wireless signal, i discovered that the ribbon number 7 was loose and dont "snap" back because both sides looks bad or a little broken.... my question is:

if a change the dock assembly my iphone works again???

only if you can make a good contact with both sides of the connector. you may need to find someone who can replace the bent part. try hector truong on here or google his name for his blog.

Mel, post a macro shot of the connector if you can. Sometimes you can bend it back to make it snap again, dont force it though, if you do then it will certainly need replacing.
