Does anyone know for sure if the ipad 7,8 and 9 Use the same charging port? I did a 9th Gen port replacement the other day and realized that it was labeled 7th Gen when I was finished. It did work fine but any time I search online they are sold individually for each model rather then listing compatibility for all 3. Just curious if anyone has any insight on this.

yes you are right. The ports for the ipad 7, 8 and 9 models are the same devices :-) Same as home button connector flex, earphone jack flex, even batterys :-) are the same. Digitizer is the same, and (of course) LCD matrix.
but for seriously, the ipad is a budget device. The differences between models 7, 8, and 9 consist in faster component parameters, which is associated with minor differences in the construction of the logic of the motherboard: for example, the processor power rim has an additional panel in the form of 68 logical pins. Of course, this is related to the different structure of the processor. All other parts (non-logical ones) remain identical. For reasons you can guess - economic.
